Public Transportation to the Ghent Marriott:
From the Gent-Sint-Pieters Station: 
- Take tramway 1 – direction Wondelgem or Evergem and stop at the “Korenmarkt” (this will take +/-15 minutes – there are 9 tram stops to go)
- On the Korenmarkt you walk straight, then turn left into “Hooiaard” now you will see the “Ghent Marriott” located on the “Korenlei” across the river
- The main entrance of the hotel and the reception area is located in the “Drabstraat”
PS: A tram ticket should be bought at an automatic distributor in front of the tram stop or in the tram itself (2008 rate is € 1.60/ticket)

From Brussels: Follow E40 toward Ghent. On the junction with E17, go toward Antwerp, and then exit to the left to B401 "Gent Centrum." Continue straight ahead. At the bus station, again go straight ahead into Vlaanderenstraat. Upon reaching the T-junction, turn left. At the end, turn right into Brabantdam. Go straight across Kouter Square and Veldstraat. Over the canal, take the second right into Onderbergen. At the end, turn left and then right again at Poel. Continue toward Drabstraat, and find the hotel on the right. (With GPS, follow Poel.) Onsite garage parking available.
